Georgia Shakespeare is a professional theatre that operates under a LORT D contract with Actors’ Equity Association. General Auditions are held only in Atlanta, GA each January for professionals. Georgia Shakespeare also attends the Unified Auditions in Atlanta each spring. Specifics regarding dates, times, requirements and when to call for these auditions will be posted on the website in the early fall.

Auditions for the Will Power Ensemble (non-Equity) are by invitation only. Please see the Will Power Ensemble link below for submission information and guidelines. We also attend the South Eastern Theatre Conference (SETC) Auditions each spring, and welcome Will Power Ensemble submissions prior to the conference. Please include your audition number in the submission.
Auditions for the Summer Acting Internship program are held in Atlanta, GA in February of each year. The Internship is for currently enrolled or recently graduated college students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Georgia Shakespeare is looking for experienced Equity and non-Equity professional actors with very strong basic skills, facility with Shakespearean text and the ability to work cooperatively in an ensemble. Stage Combat experience is also a plus.
