Non-Equity Actor Audtion Eligibility Requirements
• Résumé must include a minimum of five (5) fully-realized production credits with a professional theatre. One of those qualifying credits must be from an Equity Theatre.
• The following DOES NOT qualify towards the minimum five (5) production credit requirements: Staged Readings, Workshops, and Training Program Productions (including school related productions).
• Listing of credits must include name of theatre company, city/state (required for non-Georgia credits), name of production and role played.
• Non-qualifying credits can be listed on the résumé as educational or training credits, but will not be considered for the five (5) professional production requirements.
If you do not meet these requirements, please refer to our Acting Internship section. We offer summer acting internships for currently enrolled or recently graduated college students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Please refer back to the Audition Information webpage for more details.
Résumé Format Requirements
Your résumé must be professionally formatted to feature your stage experience and qualifying credits.
• Résumé must include your name, contact information and union status
(if applicable).
• Résumé must be attached to the non-photo side of your headshot by either printing directly on the headshot (preferred) or attaching your paper resume with glue or staples (top & bottom).
• Résumé’s must be trimmed to fit 8 x 10 headshot.

Summer Repertory Season: a mix of Equity and non-Equity actors, as well as acting interns
Fall Production: a mix of Equity and non-Equity actors
Shake at the Lake: a mix of Equity and non-Equity actors. Typically a remount from the previous season.
Georgia Shakespeare is looking for experienced Equity and non-Equity professional actors with very strong basic skills, facility with Shakespearean text and the ability to work cooperatively in an ensemble. Stage combat and musical instrument experience are a plus. Georgia Shakespeare actively seeks a company that reflects the cultural diversity of the community it serves.
