Julius Caesar

Description: This camp is available for students in grades 2-5. Participants enter the wonderful world of theatre and discover one of the world’s greatest writers. Using theatre games, improvisation arts, acting exercises, arts and crafts and a whole lot of imagination, participants will learn the basics of theatrical performance while having a great time. Participants present a special performance on the final day for friends and family.

The Georgia Shakespeare High School Conservatory 

Grades: 7th-12th
Price: $600
Dates: June 18th-29th, 2013
10am-5pm

Description: This program is available to high school students who wish to further focus on their training as an actor. This two-week intensive is an opportunity to work with members of Georgia Shakespeare’s acting company and other Atlanta professional artists in the areas of voice and text, movement, monologue and scene work. In addition there are Master Classes offered in stage combat and audition technique. As part of the Conservatory, participants will learn one Shakespearean monologue and one scene to be performed for friends and family on the mainstage of the Conant Performing Arts Center on the final day.
