Picnic Terrace
Spend Time With Your Friends and Ours!

Georgia Shakespeare means more than plays. Coming to Georgia Shakespeare is an invitation to spend time with friends, family, co-workers, neighbors or that “special someone.” Take a break from your busy schedule and spend a leisurely evening eating, drinking, and laughing. Then, experience Atlanta’s most exhilarating theatre. It’s the best of all worlds!

With a covered and shaded picnic terrace, you can enjoy Georgia Shakespeare’s picturesque setting, and then go into our state-of-the-art theater for the performance.  Bring a basket and your favorite bottle of wine, or pre-order your meal from our preferred picnic partner Carole Parks Catering and have dinner waiting for you when you arrive.

Tables are available on a first come, first serve basis.  Tables are available to be reserved for large groups.  Please call the Box Office at 404.504.1473 or email us for more information.

Georgia Shakespeare is not licensed to serve alcohol.  However, patrons are encouraged to bring their own if they would like.

Forget Something?
Got the perfect wine to go with dessert, but no way to open it?  Prepared a magnificent salad, but missing the right utensils?  A member of our staff is available on the terrace and grounds to assist with any last-minute needs for the perfect pre-show experience.
