Richard Garner (Producing Artistic Director and co-founder) is in his 26th season.  Trained as an actor at the American Conservatory Theater and in theatre administration at Double Image Theatre in New York, Richard has guided Georgia Shakespeare from a 4-week summer season in 1986 to a LORT D company producing year-round mainstage and educational programming.  As a director, he most recently directed his world-premiere adaptation of The Odyssey: a Journey Home at Georgia Shakespeare and Tom Key’s adaptation of A Confederacy of Dunces at Theatrical Outfit.  As an actor, he most recently appeared as Uncle Charlie in August; Osage County at the Alliance Theatre Company.  In addition to numerous shows for the GS mainstage and Shakespeare for Students tours, Richard has guest directed at the Alliance Theatre Company, Theater Emory, Gainesville Theater Alliance, and Springer Opera House.  He has served as a grants panelist for Theater Communications Group, Georgia Council for the Arts, South Carolina Arts Commission and is the past president of the Shakespeare Theater Association of America.  As an arts leader, he has been recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Georgia Theater Conference, the Flourish Award for Arts Leadership from Kennesaw State University, the ABBY Award for Outstanding Arts Professional from the Arts and Business Council of Atlanta and as a LEXUS Leader of the Arts in Atlanta.

Lauren Morris (Managing Director) has an undergraduate degree in theater from Indiana State University and worked as a theater artist and manager in Indianapolis before receiving an MBA and MFA in theater management from Cal State Long Beach. She most recently served as Executive Director of Long Beach Playhouse, where she helped lead a major artistic and financial turnaround of the revered 82 year-old organization.

Allen O’Reilly (Education Director) has been affiliated with the company for 19 years as an actor and teacher. He was made an Associate Artist in 1992, and became Education Director in 2004 overseeing Georgia Shakespeare’s fourteen education offerings. Since that time he has directed the High School Touring productions and also co-directed several Family Classic productions, including 2009's Alice in Wonderland. In addition, Allen had written and directed adaptations for Georgia Shakespeare’s elementary and residency programs including: Will’s Dream, Boot Camp Shakespeare!, A Tale of Two Shrews and Tempest Tossed! Allen majored in Theatre at Northern Arizona University, and received his professional theatre training at Actor’s Lab Arizona and at The Alliance Theatre Intern Program.

Donna Weber (Development Manager) is from a tiny town in the tiny state of Delaware.  She is a proud graduate of University of Mary Washington Theatre Department.  She has been with Georgia Shakespeare since 2007 and she is delighted to work in with our donors.  In addition to her work in development, Donna loves keeping you in the loop through our social media sites (Find us on Facebook and Twitter!).  She is addicted to This American Life, The Moth and Radio Lab, dance parties and celebrating the little things.  Thank you for your support!!!

Keri Atkins (Staff Accountant) is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.  She received her B.B.A. in Accounting from Georgia Southern University and her M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School.  Since graduating, Keri has enjoyed expanding her knowledge of Accounting in various industries from manufacturing, healthcare, property management, and now non-profit theatre.  Keri has been with Georgia Shakespeare since September 2006. Keri's time outside of the office is spent with her husband Johnathan and her sons JJ and Christopher.  
Keith Hinze (Production Manager) is excited to join the Georgia Shakespeare staff full time as Production Manager. He has been involved with the company for many years as far back as working as a carpenter on Macbeth in 1997 and as recently as Technical Director for The Odyssey and A Christmas Story last season. Keith brings a solid background in theatrical production having worked as Production Manager at Aurora Theatre and recently as Technical Director at St. Pius catholic High School and DramaTech, the student theatre at Georgia Tech. Keith currently resides in Newnan with his wife and three children, and, yes, that is a long way to drive to work. He hopes to relocate back to Atlanta soon.
Katy Munroe (Costume Designer & Coordinator) is a graduate of Berry College.  Katy has worked with Georgia Shakespeare since its early days.  In addition to her work in costuming, Katy creates original art that has been seen at Wimble Designs, on The Christopher Lowell Show, and in Home Companion magazine.
